DPS 5-Star Applicant Check System

Dean's Professional Services determines the star level of each candidate based on the following check system. Every applicant is processed through this system by our trained Hospitality Human Resource Professionals. This system is designed to ensure our clients receive the best staff for your events.

1. Interview

Our trained hospitality professionals conduct a thorough interview based on the resume provided to screen our applicants.

2. Evaluation Based on Specialty

After the interview is conducted, a customer service or food service evaluation is given. The applicant is evaluated based on the interviewer's assessment of the applicant's job specialty and their ability to perform the job applied for. 

3. Background Check

Background checks are completed on every applicant including criminal, regulatory and MVR as required to guarantee or ensure a safe workplace for our clients. Background checks are completed at the onset and completion of the applicant process.

4. Education and Certification Verification

Education and certification verification is conducted on every applicant to ensure that the minimum standard requirements have been met. If licensed or certified y the state of governing body, verification is conducted immediately and continuously. 

5. Employment and Reference Check

Employment and professional reference checks are verified and conducted on every applicant to ensure the history and background is accurate. The star rating of past employment is a large factor in determining star level of the candidate.
